Just had a very DISAPPOINTING & ANNOYING experience when my family & I ate at T.G.I Fridays at Waterfront, Sharjah this evening. We ordered at 9:30 pm but had our food delivered at 10:30 pm and more. The thing is, we asked the staff how long it will take to have our food delivered after our orders were taken and told us it will take about 20 minutes but unfortunately, we waited so long...worst is, they delivered 2 of our orders which are cold already. What I know is, food that is supposed to be served hot should be served hot NOT cold. Secondly, when they delivered 2 of our orders, no plates set on our table til we asked. After more than 1 hour, our last order, which is only chicken platter took more than 1 hour to serve on our table. Worst part is, many customers who came after us for several minutes had their food before us. For such a long time that we waited, the waitress did not even bother to check on us if we already got our food nor the manager or supervisor on duty. Just imagine how would you feel if for 3 menus we ordered, we waited more than 1 hour and being served cold and not at same time,do you think, you will be happy to eat still? Regardless of the food we order or the amount each of your customers are paying, I think it is the right of each and every customers who walk in to your restaurant to get good service or even better to say, the best standard of services your customers deserve. The thing is, after we gave our orders, no one even bother to check on us if we got our food or not, considering that we are sitting in the middle and everyone (staff) can see us...in fact, no supervisor nor manager check on us to see how we are doing...The truth is, today's experience was the worst experience I ever had in my entire 17 years in UAE...One of the service staff reason out that, the waitress who took our orders was overloaded of works that's why, all things happened. We saw many customers coming in and out already but got their food served before us...It is indeed the worst dining experience I ever had. << Less
